I’ve visited the store a couple of times and it’s been a while. I had actually forgotten that this bakery supply store is so close to me because I’ve recently moved west. My experiences with this store were very positive and I loved the service, look and organization of the products. I’ll be heading there today to stock up on supplies as soon as they open!
I am so happy that there is a bake supply store within city limits. Whenever I come into the store, the staff is always pleasant and helpful. The young man will even open the door and walk me to my car when I'm carrying a large package. I'm very satisfied with Crummie's.
As a beginner baker, and live in Detroit. This store is perfect for me! To have a local bakery shop is massive!!! They have everything you need and more. Plus they are extremely friendly! Will be back again and againnnn💕💕💕💕
The worst service I have ever had to deal with when ordering cake/ cupcakes. I try to support black owned business and it's so disappointing when I do and this is the outcome. I didn't have the opportunity to taste the food because the business end of it was so unprofessional. The deposit process was not explained properly when I made my order. So I received an invoice on Sat Sept 3 that I didn't notice until I open my email days later, Sept 6. Whomever, I spoke with told me my order had been canceled and that I would have to pay an additional $15 to continue with my order. At this point I'm at a lost. The cupcakes isn't due to be picked up till Saturday Sept 10. I feel this is crazy to add additional funds to an order that is not late for picking up. I offered to pay the invoice today $50, but will not pay an extra $15. With that being said I'll just take my $50 deposit back. It takes 60 days to receive a refund, what happen to the usual 7-14 days. I really thought it would be easier to order my cupcakes in Detroit but I'm better off bringing them from Tennessee with me.
My husband and I made the trip from Toledo when we heard about Crummy’s, because it looked like they had so much more to offer than our local bakery shops…and that was right! They had so many beautiful cake boards and drums, all kinds of toppers and stencils, sprinkle mixes…so much that I usually have to order online! The owner was super friendly and I so wish we lived closer, but I know I will be making the trip again when it is time to restock on supplies! Thank you!
