This was a great experience. We went on a Friday night. The live DJ definitely contributed to the vibe, with age appropriate tunes. The crowd was over 30, so everyone was in chill mode. It had that "Cheers" vibe, where people genuinely enjoyed one another's company. Our server was quick and attentive, made great suggestions and everything we ate was hot, fresh, and delicious. We even hung around for dessert. Oh, and the original artwork is a sight to see, its amazing! They Say definitely deserves 5 stars. Thanks for a great experience, we'll be back!
The Cajun Fettuccine Alfredo sauce was delicious and the spice was at the perfect level. The salmon was tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection. The buttery dinner roll was sooo good and the service was great!

Today's lunch took me to They Say very barsy feel to it but very nice and clean restaurant. I went with the Catfish, fries and coleslaw and I must say it was delicious. Wish the breading for the catfish had a little more spicy but that's just personal preference. But I do recommend this mom and pop style bar/restaurant.
Visited this establishment on Saturday, September 24, 2023 during a River Walk visit. The restaurant was not crowded. Waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by wait staff. We should have left within the 20 minute wait; stayed in an effort to support a Detroit business. Received glasses of water and placed our order...turkey club with seasoned fries and a salad with (boneless) fried chicken pieces. The turkey was dry and taste free. The chicken pieces were refrigerator cold. The fries and salad dressing were great.....best part of the meal. Asked for napkins four times before the server brought the sealed napkin package to the table, tore it open and handed us requested napkins. Quality of service and food needs to be upgrade. First and last visit. All I can say is NO to They Say!!!
