Bought a Superman crunch cake here for my husbands birthday. Peteet’s is famous for their cheesecakes but the cakes definitely don’t disappoint. It was amazing and really did remind us of the popular ice cream flavor. Cake was moist and cheesecake flavor icing was delicious. Will definitely return to try one of their cheesecakes. Update: Came back for National Cheesecake Day and can definitely say they have the most amazing cheesecakes. Tried the superman and free celebration slice they were giving away. Yum!
I'll start by saying Peteet's has the BEST peanut butter cookies I've ever tasted...easily. The cheesecake is perfect. I had the red velvet and key lime cheesecakes, and some Superman cookies to top it all off. The texture and density is great--never too rich and brimming with distinct flavors. The portions are just right. The owner and his wife are warm and friendly people. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something unique and local.
The presentation, service, smell and taste were spectacular! Half of my cake didn't make it home. I'm not a real sweets person but I understand the hype
I love Peteet’s! It’s always a pleasant vibe, the desserts are SUPERB and worth every single penny. Amazing staff too. 👍🏾 The peach cobbler cheese cake is my absolute favorite dessert ever. 🍑
I'm not happy writing this! They have good desserts that I've enjoyed occasionally for many years; however, I will no longer be a customer of this business again! While in the area I decided to drive a few miles out if my way to buy a bunch of prepared cheesecake slices and other new desserts they had ready to go. I ran into a bunch of construction and had to take 2 detours to get there. I finally arrived and happily walked in the door to see a display full of treats, and then I heard the lady start yelling at me behind the counter. She said loudly that I'd have to leave and that they where closing. I frooze for a minute to take in what had just happened. The only 2 customers a man and a women that were checking out even looked shocked! The man said "wow, is it that serious?". I just said ok and walked out the door then looked at my phone and it was 7 til 5pm. I didn't know they were closing soon, but proper prodigal is not to be yelling behind the counter, but when you're closing, you or someone goes to lock the door, instead. As someone who managed many retail businesses and now am a business owner of several businesses. This would never be allowed at any of the businesses ever. You never yell out at people coming to support you that walk through the door to spend money, and you never close up before store hours. I was going to buy at least $40 to help clean out the food before the end of the night, but I'll just take my money elsewhere to business that more appreciative and professional!
