All the hype about the amazing cheesecakes they have is true! The shop is easy to find. There's a parking lot beside it, but you'll need to be very careful as it has some really big holes. The shop is fairly wheelchair friendly, but the doors aren't automatic. There's a table inside where you can enjoy your tasty cheesecake, which I thought was very nice.
The Owner was amazingly nice. Great conversation. The cheese cake was absolutely delicious. We tried just about every flavor and had no complaints. This is a must visit place if your in Detroit.
I just bought a Beautiful Superman Cheesecake AND two slices (whoever said they don't sell slices is wrong) I got Oreo and Snickers slices Idk how to add a picture but if I figure out how I will add a picture
We are from toledo and drove by this place and stopped in. He had several options of cheesecake and regular cake. The prices weren't bad, 45$ for a whole cheesecake, which I feel is pretty reasonable as cheesecake is usually pretty pricey. He (the owner) was very nice and friendly and recommended banana pudding cheesecake. We took the recommendation and was glad we did. It was excellent. Banana pudding, only cheesecake. We also got a piece of German chocolate cake. The cake was unbelievably moist and also very good. I'd say if you're going to a function, bring one of these cakes and show off. We will definitely make the hour drive and come back! I really want to try the strawberry or superman cheesecake that were also options.
Wonderful service and prices are right. The only bakery in Detroit that I could find that would make me a sugar-free cake for my birthday during this unfortunate situation. I kept getting the runaround from other bakeries and soon as I called this one I had no problem. My cake was delicious and this is where I will be coming for any future birthdays or any other events where I need a sugar-free cake or cheesecake that is not just basic. I had a sugar-free Superman cake that was out of this world! UPDATE: ORDERED A SPECIALTY CAKE EARLIER THIS YEAR FOR A VERY SPECIAL EVENT AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I FEEL IT WAS RUSHED AND IT WAS NOT LIKE IT WAS PICTURED ON THE SITE OR EITHER TOLD TO ME OVER THE PHONE WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER. WHEN I ARRIVED TO PICK IT UP I FEEL AS IF A SALESMAN WAS TRYING TO SELL ME A BAD USED CAR, AND I PAID FULL PRICE AND WAS GIVEN NO TYPE OF EXPLANATION WHY IT WAS THE WAY IT WAS OR NOT OFFERED ANY TYPE OF DISCOUNT OR ANYTHING FOR THE INCONVENIENCE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT READY ALTHOUGH I HAVE PLACED IT EARLY. THE PERSON THAT I DEALT WITH WAS ACTING LIKE I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG AND I'M THE CUSTOMER. SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. And that is unfortunate because I had already referred several people who have purchased cakes from this place. So very disappointed because I had very high hopes.
