Well, let start with the hairdresser. She gave me an 8am appointment for her Ms. Pamela Talley showed up 15 min. late, and if that was the last of it, she went for coffee and muffins. Was on her phone too much everything I dose off because I work midnight she stop doing my hair and was on her phone . She was supposed to do my hair early in the week, but she went out of town, and when she got back, the price changed from $140 to $160. All I wanted is a professional hairdresser. I forgot to add that I didn't get my hair washed or condition. Customer service was bad. But she did a great job on my hair.
Locks4Life gets a 10 when it comes to customer service. The locticians are polite, easy, the atmosphere very soothing, good conversation, laughter, and a little TV on the side (Always my choice of channel), coffee/water/tea - I'm impressed and love referring people to Pam, I was referred to her and will be forever grateful!!
I love Locs for Life. I feel like family every time I walk into the salon.
I have been a client for more than 10 years. Ashlee does a great job and has been trained very well. The shop is clean and she is accommodating. She is also busy 🙂 you may be service by a different person but it's definitely worth checking it out. You get what you pay for, here you pay for consistent experience.
I really had high hopes for this place. When I initially looked them up, they had pretty good reviews. But my experience was less than expected. The owner and the loctitian that did my hair were very sweet and lovable, but the professionalism was worse than my first loctitian experience. This was my second time getting sisterlocs. My loctitian was on her phone throughout my 2 day installation, she scheduled retightenings in between my time, and I have less locs than I initially had. I reached out to the owner to see if she could start caring for my locs instead of the person who installed them, but she failed to follow through with communication. My hair, my money, and my time are valuable to me and I don't feel that they valued this. This is my experience, it may not be yours, but beware, they may be too busy to give you what you are looking for. I wish this resulted differently and I'm sorry for having to post this review, but I was left with no other option after the lack of communication to resolve this issue.
