We just scheduled a trip with Vacations By Rail. I worked with Bridget, she was very helpful. I had a lot of questions about the trip, which she answered easily as well as some follow-up questions on email. It made me feel like we were in good hands. Can't wait for the trip.
We enjoyed a wonderful 11 Vacations by rail trip around Switzerland. Rail is a great way to see Switzerland.

My husband and I along with another couple returned yesterday from a train trip across Canada booked through Bridget Allen at Vacations by Rail. Overall we enjoyed our trip, however, the customer service from Bridget and her support people (especially Derek) was lacking. Then, just before we left on the trip, my husband broke his leg prompting a need to know how to navigate some scheduled activities, etc. We had to personally call each excursion and the VIA train office individually after asking for but not receiving help from Vacations by Rail. Would think before using them again.
Bridget is wonderful. She has answered so many questions and has been so patient, knowledgeable, and efficient in getting all the arrangements for my tour set up exactly as I wanted. I have traveled with Vacations by Rail many times and every trip has been spectacular! I am really excited about and eagerly awaiting this next one.
