Absolutely love this place. I got a special order cake for my mom’s birthday. It was delicious and so beautifully decorated. Mom was so happy. It is one of the best cakes we have ever had. I also love the pastries selection.
I ordered two custom heart shaped cakes for my daughters baptism. They were super helpful and responsive! The cakes turned out so beautifully and exactly how I wanted them! Not to mention they were incredibly delicious! Everyone at the party loved them! I would highly recommend!
Macarons are good, but the croissants aren't really true French style like some other bakeries in the area (they seem to be whole grain flour, and somewhat overdone / extremely dark and crispy, the almond ones cut in half with a wet filling inside - not truly bad, but honestly I prefer even the ones at grocery stores over these). Prices are also much higher than you'll find on the Main Line. With tip as prompted by the payment system, it was about $17 for two croissants and a macaron. At my favorite bakery a couple of towns away, I could have gotten half a dozen true French style pastries for that.
Cute shop, friendly service. I wasn’t sure they had opened yet but I could see the lights on so I stopped. I got there a bit late in the day but still had a good selection to choose from. I got a selection of things to try, everything just looked so good. Everything was fresh and yummy! Nothing was dry or overly sweet. Just perfect. Portions are a good size as well. Definitely a nice addition to Kennet square. I will be back!
I recently ordered custom Macarons from Patisserie Lola for a bridal shower and they were a HIT! Most definitely the best in the area! The custom design was exactly what I wanted and the flavors were delicious!!! Highly recommend!
