I called Blessings to a schedule an appointment for Friday at 4pm. When I got to the shop it was closed. When I called to find out if they had just stepped away, I was told the braided was gone for the day. I informed them that I had an appointment but they didn’t care.
HORRIBLE!!!! She over charged me for a refreshing of sengalease braids. I only had my front out and she quoted me $50-$75 over the phone and scheduled a 10 a.m appointment I get there she wasn't ready and change her price to $100. I paid $130 for my whole head to get done.I didn't get in the chair until almost 1pm that's after I left and came back a hour later. She was very rude an unprofessional......talked in her language the whole time.....was on her telephone and was very slow!!!!! She failed to tell me her machine was down and didn't want to start my hair until I got the money. I told her I need to get started I will get the money after you finish. She continued to argue that she will not finish my hair until she get her money. When I talked to her the day before I told her I had a wedding to attend and it started at 1:30 p.m. This whole ordeal took from 10 a.m. to 2:45. I missed the exchanging of the vows and barely made the couple kissing!!!!! This experience was not a blessing and the shop should not be name Blessing Hair Braiding......two other customer walked out because they were tired of sitting over an hour to get their hair done when they schedule an appointment!!!!!!!! I’ve been living in Fort Washington for 4 years and didn’t know this shop was there, 2 minutes from my house. I’m very impressed with the service and my hair. I had a 12pm appointment and was in the chair at 12. I will most definitely be returning. Izzy and staff are wonderful!
Blessing is the best i’ve had so far. She communicates with you to make sure she is giving you the style you want and to make sure you are completely satisfied. I have gotten Senegalese twists several times and double layered cornrows and I have never been disappointed and have always received compliments on my hair. She also has a positive attitude and makes sure you’re comfortable
I LOVE Blessings Hair Braiding. Not only does She have a beautiful spirit, she gives GREAT discounts. Needless to say, the customer service is impeccable. Combined with the beautiful work they do in braiding and styling their customer's hair, this is a WONDERFUL place to get your braids done. You won't be disappointed.
