Beautician was hesitant about doing requested style, but decided to go for it. I was disappointed in the fact she did not bother to cleanse the hair by shampooing it, or moisturizing the scalp prior to the style. I had left him there to get his hair braided while I ran a quick errand, when I came back she was almost done and there was dandruff all over in the hair. She used water with a spray bottle to wet the hair to comb. On top of that, after she was done she filled her hand heavily with mousse and piled it on his head. The entire head was white with mousse, so then she proceeds to grab the hair dryer to "set" the braids. The braids had to come out the following day because his head itched so badly.
Annie smacked her gum excessively the whole appointment. : Unprofessional and my hair was not done neat at all parts were cricket.
Best and quickest service I’ve ever had getting my braids done. They provide the hair, and it is included in the price they quote. No surprise fees. Annie, Berry, & Christie are so sweet and friendly! Also a nice customer, Tracy, chatted along with myself and the hairstylist. It was just such a great environment, very relaxed. They will give you suggestions if you have any questions. The space is comfy and cozy. Shoulder length box braids done in less than 3 hours. They even did my edges! I will definitely come back! 10/10 would recommend for price, customer service & the service itself.
Annie is so nice patient and kind! She made me feel comfortable we even watched Madeas Homecoming while they were doing my kinky Twist! I love my hair it was my first time going to her salon but it will not be my last! Thank you so Annie!
I'm sooooo happy that I found Aburi! She fit me in during one of my "hair emergencies urgencies" The best part is her braiding does not hurt and I suffer from migraines so I'm very sensitive with my head. She took her time but was quick and neat. I sooo happy I found Aburi . Oh, nice and clean salon!!!
