Fortunately, i’ve traveled in the same group of the above review. As an experienced group traveler, glad to report all expectations were met. From beginning to end requirements, details, itinerary, and updates as needed were provided. Not only where all planned events up to standard Valencia travel arranged for extracurricular social gathering and even added transportation to accommodate shoppers. However again, this was an EXTRA accommodation. Unfortunately, one unexperienced group travel was not only unwilling and difficult to please she also attempted to jeopardize our tour guide’s employment and travel agency’s reputation by suggesting to individualize and personalize the service of our contracted tour guide. Thankfully this was handled professionally and clearly disputed. As a result we are pleased to announce that this agency is highly recommended. And resulted in a failure for those who attempted to jeopardize this pleasant experience. Greatly appreciate the time and effort put into this trip to Medellin Colombia.
Hello everyone! For starters, lets just say that the trip was amazing!! Every place we visited in Medellin Colombia was spectacular. Everything was planned to the tea, plus extra which was a bonus. However, I do not have much room to complain except for the fact that if you wanted to voice your concerns, they were either ignored or shut down. As a manager/ leader of the group, you should be able to handle any concerns from your clients since they were the ones who did signed up and chose to go with your company. With that being said, I am extremely disgusted by the way certain situations were approached. If there was any problem, it is YOUR job to understand how to de-escalate the situation and make it where it is comfortable for all parties, not talking behind the person’s back and being fake with them. I did not like that, especially since it was my own mother. It saddens me when I saw her do her own things from a distance when she was just as much as part of the group as I was and so as the other clients. It was a level of unprofessionalism on their part. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, no matter if the person seems “difficult” or “problematic” to deal with, deserves the same treatment because at the end of the day they are YOUR clients who took time and money just to experience a trip that was provided by your company. That being said, if you are going to book with this company, just be thoughtful of what you might get yourself into.
What started as a potential great experience in Medellin was overshadowed by the mistreatment of the organizers of this event. The saving grace of this travel was the wonderful tour guide in Medellin that was contracted by these people. I’d recommend getting your own tour guide when visiting Medellin.
