My wife and I stayed at the Mountain Hideaway property for our overdue honeymoon. It was perfect! Everything was exactly as listed, plus a few bonuses . We were looking for a quiet out of the way stay, with a hot tub. We were half joking how much we would love to buy the Hideaway for ourselves. Zane at Allstar lodging was phenomenal. His customer service was top notch. We highly recommend Allstar and their great team. Thank you for helping make our honeymoon perfect. Michael & Kate S.
The Nest was the perfect little cabin. It is just the right size for two people. The large window overlooking the deck and woods fill the main room with loads of sunlight. The wood stove made it very cozy and we used it the entire time. Shower is a bit small and there is no tub, but the bathroom itself was a good size. Linens and towels are provided. It is in close proximity to Skyline Drive and lots of other hikes with beautiful scenery. We enjoyed our 3 night stay so much that we have already booked a long weekend this summer!
I rented Woodland Magic about a month ago, and spent nearly $500 on this 2 day rental. The house itself was old, clunky, outdated, stained rugs were covering broken tile floor in the kitchen, the carpet throughout the house was clearly old and stained, the fans and air vents were so dusty you wouldn't want to touch them or turn them on. I could go on and on with this rental, and I have many pictures to back it up... I can close my eyes on the outdated stuff, but the worst (and the reason we rented this house), was the hot tub. The location and outdoor space is really nice, and could be a delight. We opened the tub the next morning, the water clearly was not previously refilled, it was brown, had a layer of brown foam on top and it was slimy throughout. I called Allstar who had a neighbor (the "cleaner") come and address the issue. After almost being electrocuted, a toad jumped out the hot tub, and then she started emptying the tub with her pump. I mentioned the need to actually scrub the sides for mold, but she did not. It took 24 hours for the tub to be barely warm enough to stay in more than 5 minutes. Basically we were only able to use it the last morning, but the slime was still there. At first it seemed like Allstar cared about our concerns, asked for photos and even sent an email for comments (about a week later). I worded my concerns and disappointment but never heard back from them. A partial refund would be expected (they do warn customers that they will charge $100 if guests dirty the tub -- but do not offer the reverse obviously), but at a minimum you would expect apologies and clear steps to address these issues and improve this rental in the future. Stay away from this unprofessional company and their old nasty rentals!
Good evening, Our stay at Old Wagon Ridge was great, it was better than the pictures and description. Dealing with Allstar lodging was great from the beginning and made the experience even better and for that we thank you..Ron & Janice Hannan
We had a great time at Love and Dreams, it was secluded and still close to so many activities. We are looking forward to staying again and seeing so much more!!!!
