We were passing through Westminster on the way to BWI and didn’t want fast food or chains. We drove into downtown and found Mollies and we were well rewarded! Sandwiches freshly prepared stacked with quality meats and cheeses…..delicious and satisfying. The owners were friendly and welcoming! This was well worth the quick drive off rt140.
This tiny cafe is a hidden gem. We stopped for breakfast early on a Saturday, and ordered a number of things, including the amazing Biggins' Breakfast on a waffle. Oh my goodness! The sweet of the waffle against the savory of the egg and sausage and cheese was magnificent! Even by itself, that was the best waffle ever! I highly recommend stopping in and supporting this small business.
The waffle sandwich was exceptional. Very tasty combination salty and sweet eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Cheese was melty, and the waffle added a little sugary crunch with every bite. It was well-presented and looked as good as it tasted.
Exceptional food, service, and vibes. Small family owned business with a waffle breakfast sandwich that will blow your mind. High quality ingredients, and even pieces of sugar imbedded in the waffle to send you to the moon!
A quaint café in Westminster, it has a homey feeling the moment you walk in the door. The décor is what I would call “farmhouse chic” and has some up-cycled tables and antiques in the café. There are winged pigs placed about the café, which enhances the farmhouse feel. They are a proponent of eating local, which is awesome. I had The Breakfast Club sandwich with some iced tea, and it was terrific and a great value for the price (just under $10.00 for the sandwich and 20oz iced tea). The eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection, and the fresh tomatoes and cheese went well with the rest of the ingredients. Their menu has many options, and if they are prepared like their club, all would be delicious. I was greeted when I entered and made to feel welcome in the café. As I only had one item on the menu, I will have to come back to try their other items when I am in the area again. A must try!
