I sent messages to the owner about services and a stylist and got no answer via FB (February 27th and March 6th). Understandable. Went into the shop and booked an appointment and got specific details that day about services(March 7 th). One day before my appointment (March 20th) my stylist wanted to push my appointment out by 2 hours. I had other plans for that day so I tried to work with her and get some compromise on the time but instead she refunded me my deposit and said nothing else. No apology or anything. Pass.
The owner used to manage a different salon, but she has a great place now. I appreciate the patients Shona had, an sje did an excellent job on my hair. She her time (I love that) an gave me a Bob hair do.
I've been going to Toya for years. When I was visiting her consistently, she nursed my hair back to good health and helped it grow. Not to mention, she was doing silk presses before the girls got hip to it. My straightened natural hair would last over two weeks!
