I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best meal I’ve had out in my entire life. My boyfriend and I are on a short weekend trip to KC and I found this place on google near our Airbnb and decided to give it a try for brunch. The menu offered an impressive variety of plant-based options, making it difficult to choose just one dish. My boyfriend (non-vegan) and I (vegan) decided to split the biscuits and gravy & banana foster pancakes. Upon receiving my meal, I was blown away by the flavors. The food was so well seasoned and delicious. Not only was the food outstanding, but the staff were all sweet and helpful. Their warmth and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. Overall, I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The combination of exceptional food, friendly staff, and attention to detail makes me excited for my next visit to KC just to eat here again. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary meal, vegan or non-vegan.
When I tell you this is the BEST vegan food I have ever eaten, BELIEVE ME. Non-vegans will even be impressed. The amazingly friendly and warm atmosphere sends this place over the top. 10/10. Give it a try!
Unbelievable vegan soul food! We love coming here for breakfast and lunch. The hash goes perfect with everything, and the BBQ is our go to lunch item. Everything we have tried is delicious.
Mmmm just enjoyed the BBQ Brisket Sammich, beans and Banana Pudding Cake 😋 SO SO GOOD! Always a welcoming space with owners who obviously care about the community and their customers. Their brisket is made from thin sliced smoked tofu and it is killer. Everything is always so good—nachos, Mac, breakfast… Definitely recommend!
First of all the employees were so friendly from the second we walked in. We got a pancake and biscuit breakfast sandwich that was so good and satisfying. This is the definition of comfort food and I'll be seeing it in my dreams.
