It was okay but I went there to have her take my sew in down. But I had got my sew in from one of the girls that used to work for her named sheena. I was directed to sheena from myas website since sheena was available. I went to sheena shop thinking it was the city girls shop not knowing it was a totally different shop. Now sheena ripped the hell out of my edges and she said she was an instructor and been doing this for years. My edges are gone yall its gonna take me a couple months to get them back if they come back. Mya acted as if she did not know sheena was on her website but sheena knew she was in myas website which makes no sense. Then mya could clearly see my edges were ripped out I went to another salon and they said I now have a receding hair line. Then sheena was supposed to take it down for free and she would not communicate to get it corrected so I had to pay for it to be done. Just a horrible experience. I had scabs forming on my edges that were not just small bumps. I had those white bumps too and they hurt like hell. The style was cute if you have your hair down but when I went to pull it back or behind my ear all I saw was all forehead and it was just traumatizing. Then after getting my hair taken out I asked mya about braids for my daughter sent a text and everything no response but she sent a text to confirm I was coming for my appointment. Once again I'm not sure how experienced her girls are because from another salon, a professional. That girl just took my 200 and didnt care about her quality of work. Oh by the way sheenas shop is beyouty salon or something like that. I just know that it ain't the actual word beauty. I really need my money back since I could only last 2 weeks and mya should have taken it down for free to avoid this especially since sheena was on her website. She is now taken down from myas salon

I was very pleased with the salons appearance and the friendly atmosphere. Mya is amazing oh and let's not forget her assistant she was absolutely attentive to what was needed to be done. I will be back. Thank you ladies for the wonderful experience.
