This place is absolutely wonderful. Came back here because the food is delicious and the service matches. It is a quiet and cozy spot downtown. The prices are good for where you are and the quality of food. They have televisions playing the game which is nice. The food was ready quick and I was able to get in eat and get out rather quickly. Over all it was a great experience. Definitely returning here to eat.
Overall, pretty good spot. I got the buffalo mac; chicken was simultaneously crispy and juicy, and the buffalo sauce was more about flavor than spice, very delicious (still spicy though). The Mac n cheese itself could use a little more flavor, and is a little heavy- but the additions to it is what really makes the dish. The atmosphere is weird, but it is also in an extremely small venue. Lots of potential, best for takeout.
The Mac here is crazy cheesey and has a crazy cheese pull. If you get the Serrano chicken, it's a bit sweeter, but the buffalo gives it a good savory taste. Don't pass this place up if you like decandant mac and cheese.
When I saw this place on tiktok, I knew I wanted to try it. I got the KC 'Cue Mac which is mac with Jack Stack brisket, fried onions and BBQ sauce and my fiancé got the Honey Serrano Mac which is mac topped with twice-fried tenders, serrano peppers and a honey serrano glaze. Even though the mac was phenomenal they unfortunately burnt the top of my KC 'Cue Mac which ruined the entire taste of the mac. The honey Serrano Mac was good and the tenders on top were fried to perfection and delicious. We’re probably gonna stop in when we visit the KC area again.
This place is a run do not walk. If I could give more stars I would. It was everything I hoped it would be. The only downside is there is only 15 seats in the place and it got packed quickly. Delicious. I will be back to try more.
