My experience started with me making three phone calls to attempt to place a take out order while making the 20 minute drive to the restaurant. The first call went unanswered, the second call went to voicemail. The third call a lady answered and asked me to hold. I was on hold for the remainder of the 20 minute drive when I pulled up at the restaurant I finally hung up the phone when I arrived there was no one waiting in the lobby and the woman behind the counter was sitting down, talking on a cell phone. After a few minutes of me, standing at the counter, she got off the phone and asked me if I was here to pick up a call in order I told her no and placed my order. I ordered two turkey bites with sweet potato fries the total came to $28. I set an a lobby and waited for over 40 minutes when I finally went back to the counter and asked her did she know how much longer my order would be. I made the 20 minute drive back home open my package to find these dry burnt greasy tidbits that look like leftover remnants that have been sitting around. The fries were still warm and in good condition, the turkey meat was tough, dry and sitting in a puddle of grease. The portion in both boxes were less than a third of the usual portion. So very disappointed my daughter and I had to order pizza.
I saw their commercial and decided to give them a try, service was very good. I got the catfish fillets, turkey bites, and chicken wings, sides were okra and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good, chicken wings could have been cooked a little longer (that's just my preference). Overall a very good first experience. Will definitely go back again, next time will try the turkey ribs!
We came from Detroit to get some turkey bites and turkey chops. They didn't have any at 1pm in the afternoon and didn't expect to have any until the next day. Sent my relatives the next day and the same thing, no turkey. I hated that
For a first timer unfortunately I was just not impressed enough to return. Initially i walked in massless as stores have begun lifting signs if vaccinated or just all together. Instead of being greeted hello which i said the cashier stared at me and said “mask” “do you have a mask”. I retrieved my mask and returned in still the demeanor still was not welcoming. I ordered the turkey leg and Macaroni. My daughter had sweet and spicy wings and fries. Total was $31 which I expected way more flavor and portions. The macaroni while cheesy had a “different” taste I couldn’t pinpoint it but I didn’t care for it. The turkey leg was super soggy not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. The wings were very oily I’m sure that’s just from the sweet and spicy but my daughter didn’t care for them. I liked the sauce I’m but the wings are fried so that makes a difference I guess. I have heard good things about the place and we live close but 🤷🏾♀️
Omg the best Turkey Ribs I’ve had in awhile. They didn’t have what we originally wanted and that was the Turkey Leg but when I say the turkey ribs was worth every dime iSo mean it was. Me and my Husband enjoyed everything about this place from ordering over the phone to the fast and fresh food that we received. We will definitely be back!!!
