The restaurant is very nice. We didn’t wait long. Our waitress was GREAT and very professional and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was pretty good just nothing was hot. Everything was warm and a warm like it had been sitting for a while. We got shrimp n grits, traditional breakfast, catfish fillet, home fries, scrambled eggs and everything would’ve been even better if it had of been hot or at least a little bit warmer than what it was. I will consider returning but hopefully the food is hot next time. The mimosas were delicious
SUPPORT BLACK OWNED RESTAURANTS!!! The atmosphere was so welcoming and felt familiar. Beautiful on the inside. Even on a Sunday the flow was great. We didn’t wait too long to get seated or for our food. Waffle is really sweet; I loved it. Shrimp was delicious. My bird love her food; especially the catfish. They were playing gospel which was a nice touch for Sunday. Will be back.
Great place for brunch or breakfast. They are really busy, so get there early or wait till around 1:00 when the crowd dies down. They have in door and outdoor seating and plenty of room in the restaurant, including a bar that you can sit and drink at. The bathrooms are really nice and clean. You can get your drinks while you wait for a table if you like. The staff is very friendly and polite. I had the shrimp and grits, which came with 2 eggs of your choice. It was seasoned very well and tasted great. My brother had the fried chicken wings, which he said was seasoned really well. We both said we would return because of the good food and great atmosphere.
Great company with my cousin. Restaurant doesn't even get an honorable mention. How in the HELL you give us the check when I didn't get my pancakes that came with the meal. And this after being told they were coming after the meal was delivered. Food was under seasoned and waffle was over cooked. And dry food items, especially the sausage links and eggs with no cheese after it was sent back. The syrup was good though
The fish and chicken are so good. If you remember Goody Goody (and liked it) This is the place for you. The service was great our waitress was very attentive. It did take a second for our second bowl of oatmeal but it’s the lunch rush so it’s all good.
