This is a beautifully decorated, classy and relaxing shop ran by my friendly and welcoming hairstylist Ms. Aletta. She treats my tight coils and spirally hair with a patient love and attention to detail that it has never experienced before! She only uses healthy products that leaves no build-up and that promotes growth. She has a light touch (no snatching and pulling going on over here) and is as gentle as they come, which was a pleasant surprise! I've been going to hairdressers my entire life and realized right off the bat that this lady actually knows her stuff! Not only is she immensely skilled at what she does, but smiles when she sees me, takes her sweet time while providing her valuable services, is extremely quick (gets me in and out like a boomerang), but she never fails to show genuine concern when inquiring about how life is treating me! I've searched for "the one," an expert on black hair (other types as well) for decades, while undergoing devastating hair crises at the hands of other hair professionals, that should have learned black hair in school, but obviously didn't have a clue! I leave Ms. Aletta's shop feeling centered, all around blessed and like I really matter! She shares secrets on maintaining my own hair, then loads me down with the best, non-damaging hair products money can buy. Best experience of all being under Ms. Aletta's skilled and magic producing fingers...after decades of trying to grow it out and failing, after 2 visits, shiny, well-defined coils are starting to emerge, sprouting out all over my head, forming a full, gorgeous, 100% natural and radiant crown! Thank you Ms. Aletta for lifting me out of that dark period and allowing me feel proud to be black again! ❤️
I took my niece to get a sew in and I knew hardly anything about brands, quality and pricing.Aletta did a great job with explaining and breaking down the pros and cons on each brand I looked at. I was having a hard time searching several stores on what bundle to purchase. Aletta told me about a vendor she is getting supplies from and presented to me what she recommends. That made it so much easier for me to make the right choice the price the quality and the convience it was for me to take that route. Overall my niece loved her hair and the experience and I enjoyed how much easier it was to buy straight from the salon vs searching several stores.
I’ve used sew-in extensions for a number of years and have tried many different brands. Aletta recently purchased some extensions and I decided to give them a try. I must say these extensions are AWESOME! No shedding, lightweight and blends perfectly with my texture.
