This is a bit of a long read, but it’s worth it: As a new mom who was learning to create balance in my life, this was the support I needed. I entered the salon in such a vulnerable state; my hair had been neglected for months. I had realistic expectations that I may not receive treatment or I may only be able to have some assistance with detangling my then matted hair. My hair stylist, Cheyvonni, was compassionate and created the perfect experience. She was patient, precise, and cut the matted parts of my hair only when necessary. It was truly an overall empowering experience. She stayed late and still washed, deep conditioned, and put a little French braid in my hair to prevent it from getting tangled before I was able to rinse and style my hair. She also trimmed off the ends so that my hair was not drastically uneven after all the breakage (from the matting). The care she gave felt like a that of a loved one. She even sent me off with a parting gift (a detangling brush and hair clip) as part of my first-time experience. It’s the salon of every black girl’s dream where curls are celebrated, conversation is encouraged, and comfort is guaranteed.
I had a great time and I love the the result. I feel like I learned so much. I definitely can't afford to go here regularly but I'm glad to have experienced it and met Tiara, she's very nice and explains what she does and why. My hair has never looked so healthy before and I'm so grateful.
I had my 1st appointment yesterday at Radically Curly. I had heard great things about them from friends & family who have been going to them for quite some time. Upon my arrival in I was greeted right away with smiling, welcome faces. I went in for a haircut and walked out feeling like a brand new person. The experience, energy, and environment in this salon is nothing like I’ve ever experienced in any other salon. They brought curls to life I didn’t even know I had!! I would 10/10 recommend this salon to anyone without hesitation!

My stylist really knew my hair. This is the first time I've had a stylist who understood curly hair and was able to give me a cut that looks great and is manageable for me to keep up. Great service!
