I had my wedding at River's Bend Ranch last month and am still getting compliments from guests about how magical the venue was! We rented out all of the accommodations in addition to the reception space, so we were able to have our wedding party, families and a few close friends stay on site. It was so much fun having everyone there to be a part of the whole weekend from check in on Friday to check out on Sunday. My aunt and cousin even led a wedding morning yoga class overlooking the mountains! Caroline was so helpful and everyone was flexible and worked with us to make sure everything was perfect for our big day (well... really it was our big weekend, because why stop at just one day!?)
My son & I enjoyed an amazing trail ride at River's Bend Ranch last week. We try to take a trail ride whenever we travel, and we both agree that the ride at River's Bend Ranch was the best by far! The horses were perfect trail horses, the trails were well-maintained and wonderfully scenic, and our guide, Andy, was absolutely fantastic! He told us about each of our horses, he was funny, knowledgeable, and quickly became a "friend" within a few minutes of knowing him! I can't describe how beautiful the area at River's Bend Ranch is - I believe it's the only place where you can take a trail ride along the Shenandoah River, which was beautiful. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely take another ride at River's Bend Ranch! (I look forward to seeing my horse, "Gary" again, too!!)
River’s Bend Ranch was the venue for my daughter’s wedding this past weekend. The venue does not require much because it has so much natural beauty! Every where you look you will see rolling hills and mountains, large fields full of horses and cows. The cabins and houses are fully stocked with everything you need. We loved it and plan to come back for a family weekend or a couples getaway. Caroline is amazing, she is so helpful and quick to answer any questions you have. Don’t miss the gem!
Perfect location for our daughter’s wedding. Both families were able to enjoy the entire ranch for the entire weekend giving us more time to celebrate. The staff, views and accommodations were excellent. I would highly recommend Rivers Bend Ranch.
My daughter got married at River′s Bend Ranch in Stanley, VA in early September. The setting was breathtaking and the open air pavilion where the tables and DJ was set up was beautiful! The archway for the ceremony was set up with the backdrop of an immense field. My sister officiated and she said as she was standing in the archway waiting for the bride, a horse across the lawn looked right at her and neighed. How special that was! Caroline in the office was so helpful, answering all my last minute questions quickly. In addition, the accommodations at the ranch were great! The ten bedroom Bunk House was where many of the attendants and spouses stayed, while parents and a few family members stayed at the five bedroom Ranch House. The three bedroom Lodge and one bedroom cabins are set up on the hill in a beautiful setting and the decks on the Lodge and Cabins had a beautiful view of longhorn cows. The wedding celebration was special with many family members and friends attending. It was even more special with the event being at River′s Bend Ranch!
