Nice chill vibe, good food and service with live music. Parking lot fills up fast when they have a event. Very mature atmosphere went to brunch on a Sunday, definitely did not disappoint. Great drinks, music, and good prices.

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is great. I love that they have different events on various nights of the week to appeal to a larger customer base. Do I feel some of the events maybe a little overpriced. Unfortunately that's where it ends for me. The drinks are not great but good and the food is mediocre. I've only gone on the free nights but I've had friends that have gone on other nights. I can't see paying to get in then having to buy a drink and food item. Maybe that requirement is just on the free nights I don't know. But you should be able to just buy two drinks or 3 drinks if you want to come out for a nice evening and enjoy some music. As I said, to force somebody to buy a food makes it seem like they're forcing the food on you. I get that tipping can sometimes be a problem and a lot of restaurants add the gratuities to the bill for parties over a certain number. But there were two two of us and I tend to tip over the norm if I have really good service which we did so I did. I just think that sometimes when you add a mandatory tip it turns people off from tipping more if they were going to.

I attended the brunch from 12 to 2. Food was pretty good. However unless your having a birthday party they will ask you to move to the bar or the patio. My girlfriends we like to sit and talk after eating, however we ended up leaving.

I just want to say that attitude is everything..This establishment gets 1 star simply because of a bad attitude. I have been here before ,One time for my mother 's birthday I had a great time, great ambiance, Great entertainment. Mixed reviews on the food. I had the jollof rice and chicken which is an African dish but did not have too much flavor . However my mom and husband loved the turkey wings. And if I can remember the dessert was good too.i have recommended this place to many, many people. Black Owned, great entertainment, beautiful ambiance....I was proud to do so. However I called to ask about the upcoming comedy show and the lady that answered sounded like she did not want to be bothered based on her short answers and tone. There was a lot of noise in the background while she gave me one word answers Like I was a nuisance. My final question was how they celebrate birthdays, she said with an attitude," I mean you can get a shout out" .sorry but her energy sucked! I then asked for a manager and the lady said she is the manager. I told her that is really ashame to come off with such a nasty disposition. At that point I instantly did not want to even patronize. We all have bad days but customer service is paramount in the service industry . Good energy goes a long way.

Wilson's Restaurant & Live Music interesting experience........ We came down to celebrate a friend's birthday. The venue was supposed to open at 5 PM for Happy Hour. We were told we had to wait 10 minutes before we would be able to come in.....okay. Once we got in, we were seated at a group of tables right in front of the door. We were the first group of patrons that came in. We did not get any water until we were there for approximately 35 minutes. Then, about 10 minutes after that, the wait staff came and took our drink order. At the table beside us, the patrons there had already gotten appetizers, and they were seated a good 20 minutes AFTER we had been seated. It wasn't until an hour and 15 minutes had passed that we were then given menus. We placed our order and appetizers came out first. We didn't have the small plates or extra napkins to go with the appetizers. When the food came out, a couple of us had rice with our hibachi that was extra salty. Not a good thing when you have to consider some with dietary restrictions. You may want to consider having salt/pepper on the tables so patrons can season the food to their liking. Three of our patrons actually spoke to one of the owners about the issue, but did not receive any true attention. It was more of a non-chalant manner that the information was received. A year later, and the service was totally different. In March 2022, everyone was attentive and took care of all patrons even with it being a full venue. Sadly, it is suggested that you go back to basics and bring back the customer service that was highly visible in the beginning when your establishment was fairly nee. Not to mention your dress code was clearly not adhered to, unless it has been relaxed. When a patron brings an issue to your attention, something should be done to rectify it. After discussion with the owner, the gratuity was removed. However, we expected the service to be BETTER than others, as you aim to serve US. Having supported many venues, it is saddening when WE receive subpar service from US, especially when the venue is targeted towards professional people. For this visit, there is only one ⭐ to give. For the price we pay, we expect at least the same amount of service. Otherwise, it's a money grab.
