My friend ordered from here and we got a good amount of food over $50 worth. The Catfish and whiting was ok once some hot sauce was added, as for the sides 😩🤮 The collard greens was not seasoned at all, the Mac and cheese im not sure if that was supposed to be baked or just something they reheated but it lacked flavor as well. The yams was just plain and the potato salad just wasn’t it at all. Everything we added seasonings to when we got home and the food was still mediocre. Oh I almost forgot the $5 fries that wasn’t even a handful…Go here at your own risk🤷🏾♀️
Waited almost two hours for Uber order for them to send me just sides and no protein. How can I wait 2 hours for a grilled salmon meal and when the food arrive no salmon be in the bag is unacceptable. This place offers soul food and you would wish for it to be a good place but it’s not the wait time is insane the service is always spotty god forbid the order is right your drink is there and a fork is provided 😂😂. My first time going there and I loved that the food was made to order. We got a decent amount of different things from the Parm honey wings, corn, cornbread, whiting, potato salad, green beans and fries. Me, my husband and my mom were not disappointed. The flavor of those wings and how they were cooked were good as hell, cornbread definitely on point, the corn on the cob was a little over cooked but we still devoured them. They were friendly and nice to speak with and the atmosphere was cool. Definitely will see me & mine there again soon
I was disappointed with the presentation. There was hair on all the chicken wings. I question how well they clean their food here. Why was the hair not removed during washing ?
My taste buds are still dancing from my recent visit to this restaurant. The chef's creativity shines through in every dish. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, making the dining experience top-notch. I'm already planning my next visit!
