This place impressed from the second you arrive. They are a size inclusive wedding dress shop. If you are curvy and want to try on a wedding dress that will fit you this is the place to go!!! The dress selection is enormous and they have a wide variety of styles and sizes. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. The women who did the alterations is actually the women who opened the store (now owned by her daughter). They take detail to everything. When hemming my dress they removed the lace in order to not remove any of it from the bottom of my dress and then delicately placed it back onto the dress. It was perfect, the bustle couldn't have been made any easier. The seamstress made three small loops and buttons for bustle. When my mom picked up my dress they gave her a little emergency kit with shout wipes, sewing kit, helpful hints and tricks and more. Their entire staff is beyond friendly and helpful with anything at all my dress is now being cleaned and preserved through the company they use. There truly is no other place I'd go for a wedding gown! This place does it right!!! The curvy bride deserves all the recognition for helping me find my perfect dress in one shot!
I went to the curvy bride a few weeks ago and had the most amazing experience! Dayna was my consultant and she is so sweet & kind. She made me feel so comfortable in my own skin and for the first time I didn’t feel like I was trying on plus size clothing. I was dreading dress shopping and tried to put it off, but as soon as we arrived, Dayna assured me that we were going to have fun and she did exactly that. Everyone would walk by and gave me compliments & made me feel so beautiful. Thank you to everyone involved with the curvy bride. Truly my favorite shopping trip ever!!! :)
I went to the store in July to find my wedding dress and the women working there make you feel like the most beautiful woman and they hype you up any time you feel even the slightest insecure about anything. I can not recommend the curvy bride enough! It was a pleasant surprise to have to be clipped into a dress because it’s too big on me. Made me love every minute of my experience there. Every plus size woman deserves to feel this way when dress shopping for their big day!
From the moment I walked in the door at The Curvy Bride, I was greeted with amazing customer service and made to feel so special. They had a nice private area for me and my friends set aside for our appointment. Dayna was my bridal consultant, and she was such a spark of joy. Spending time with her was like being with an old friend! She was a great listener and it only took a few dresses for me to find the one! I was able to buy it off the rack and take it home with me, making it such an easy and enjoyable experience. The dress was super flattering, beautiful, and simple, just what I wanted. My friends loved Dayna and her personality was truly a joy! Highly recommend Dayna and this lovely shop, thank you for everything!
I said YES to the dress! I cannot begin to express how thankful I have for this shop. All my curvy brides should make this their first and least stop on their dress journey. Setting up the appointment was easy. I spoke with the owner and consultant in advance of my appointment to let them know my wants. My appointment was on a Wednesday afternoon and we basically had the place to ourselves. They stuck to my budget and encouraged me to try on dresses out of my perceived comfort zone. And I found it! The perfect dress for me and under budget!
