I had the most amazing experience attending a 1 on 1 training course at NappStar Atlanta. First off, the owners of the salon and team were very kind and welcoming! Everyone stopped to introduce themselves, share a smile, or an encouraging word. During the hands on course, you are able to choose the skills you would like to focus on learning. Annette was my instructor and she was very knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and professional. She first started with answering all my questions, then she shared with me multiple techniques to perfecting an array of installs. The ambiance of this place is truly inspiring to any stylist with goals and a dream. I would definitely take this course again! I highly recommend it to any stylist that would like to improve or learn new skills.

Booking was a breeze & I was super excited to get my hair done. Unfortunately I didn’t realize my stylist didn’t fully understand English & my request for rope twists. It made my appointment much longer & my hair was twisted after I sat under the dryer once things were sorted out with another stylist. That bummed me out & I’m not sure what the oil treatment was that I paid for-it just seemed like basic oil on the scalp as I was getting retwisted? I’m not really sure there. I do like the result & I loved the salon itself. The staff was pleasant & kind too. The miscommunication though was frustrating & added lot of time to my appointment. I would have loved for my 2 strand twist to set under the dryer. I’d just advise you to confirm every step with the stylist. I didn’t think I would have to. I would have requested to sit under the dryer again but I had already been there for 4 hours & I was starving.
This summer my daughter made an appointment for the both of us to get our hair done. This was my first time getting my locs done professionally. The vibe was amazing. The service was excellent. But what really put the icing on the cake for me was when I tried to make a purchase online of some hair products for my son who lives in another state. When placing the order I received a message that I needed to send verified ID to finish placing the order. This was a first for me seeing a request like this for an order. I never send the verification information. Thinking that my order was canceled because I did not send the verification information, I happened to look at my credit card statement and noticed that the amount for the order was still on my account. I called Fashiondreads, but it happened to be after hours and I didn’t leave a voicemail as requested. The following day I received a call from Miss Faith from Fashiondreads this really surprised me I wasn’t expecting a call back because I never left a message, but Miss Faith was very kind and very helpful and very assuring that I would receive my refund back within three days. She also explained to me the reason why the verification was needed. I did receive my refund in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this black on business for the way they treat their customers. It was a great experience overall. 😀😀😀
My Son Eugene And I had the best experience with Nappstar. They truly lived up to the fantastic customer service and did a wonderful job on my son's hair. The owner Annette is so friendly like her staff. Shout out to Sethtra for her wonderful service with my son. We coming back!🥰
