They change the amount of food that they give you. I was told that the new small portion policy started today. (See pictures). See the review left by By someone right before my post. Notice the drastic difference in the size in the containers of mine and theirs. Notice all the room left in the space for the sides in mine. There's a thin layer of rice and mac and cheese at the bottom of the food used to be filled to the top of the container and even a little more. The prices are still the same for the food, but the portions are drastically, drastically different. I won't be buying any more food from this place. I just want to put a warning out there. You're spending $20 plus dollars for the food, and need to make your own sides at home. Used to Three pork chops, now it's two small ones. The prices aren't bad for the amount of food they USED to give you. GREED is something else.
This was our first visit to Corrine's Place. Our platters had huge portions, and the food was both affordable and delicious! Our server, Dahlia, was wonderful too. We'll definitely be back.
Portions are huge. Yams were AMAZING! Ordered via Uber Eats and staff quickly called to let me know they were out of cobbler and gave me a list of alternatives. Only complaint ( and it really isn’t) is that I would have loved some vinegar for my collards. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.
The food truck visited my campus. The wait for a platter was at least a half hour when the website advertises 15 minutes. The food itself was tasty and had big portions. After I was finished eating however I threw up which I haven’t done in years. I had the catfish strips, mac&cheese and french fries. The condiment packets have little to no sauces in them. The menu is the same way with little to no options. Maybe the restaurant would be a better experience than the truck I would hope.
The food was ok, I’ve had better (& honestly, I have also made better). The mac and cheese was too salty, the fried chicken was dry, but the collard greens and candied yams were decent. The service was great - fun staff. Not a sit down place - didn’t know that before hand so we ordered, waited, & left with take out. Plenty of street parking.
