Ruth was recommended to us by a family friend. We were unsure what to expect from a secular wedding. The best thing about working with Ruth was how easy and straightforward it was. She did a tremendous job researching the details of our relationship. AND, her delivery of the ceremony was perfect in that it wasn’t overly stiff or formal, but relaxed and fit the emotional mood of the day. Without hesitation, we would recommend Ruth to other couples. We had a personal and meaningful ceremony that also spoke to the audience. Future couples should know that Ruth was a great guide through the whole process. The ceremony was not a simple cookie-cutter speech and then the rings.

She was prompt with her responses, organized with her wedding day schedule, clear about how she operated and what she required of my venue and punctual for ceremony. My now husband and I were looking for an officiant for our non-denominational wedding for August of 2023. She guided us through the entire marriage license process and even took care of the details afterwards. We had never physically met Ruth in person until the day of our wedding, but we felt like we were connecting with an old friend! She is the sweetest person and was extremely easy to talk to! I found Ruth through a Google search of officiants near me. I had no hesitations about working with her as she was thorough, personable, and professional. She made the entire process as easy for us as possible. What I enjoyed most was that Ruth was ready and willing to tailor her services to fit our needs. We were looking for no frills, which was surprisingly difficult to find. Ruth had a "Sign and Go" option that was exactly what we wanted, plus she was available within the week. She listened to us and delivered on her promises. She also had a variety of options that would fit any budget. Ruth wrote a contract so we weren't left at the altar! The contract laid out exactly what we were paying for and what Ruth would be doing. That contract meant we had one less thing to worry about, because we knew that she would be there for us. I would highly recommend Ruth as an officiant for your wedding or vow renewal, especially if you are local and doing last-minute planning.
