It was my first time at this place to do a sew in.They told me 120 on the phone . When I arrived the lady who did my hair asked whether I would want the hair hot curl, I say yes, to which she didn't tell me the additional price knowing it was my first time. Anyway I pay a total of 145.00 plus another 10.00 for tip. My issue here is the hot curl they charged another 25.00 was a hot mess by the time I drove home, the lady who did my hair claimed it was a style of Nicki Minaj, the truth is my entire hair was a hot mess by the time I left the salon, it was not pretty, the curls had all fallen out, I feel so disappointed . It was a rip off. While the lady herself who did my hair had a pleasant attitude. My hair style was not impressive. I will be removing it as quickly as i can.
They had my friend looking crazy. They don’t know how to lay a weave properly. Instead they wax it down. When that wax wears off, it looks insane. When the previous owner was there they had better stylists. Now I wouldn’t waste your money. The lady who used to just remove weaves now does them. And she can’t! Only one girl was worth going to and she’s not there anymore. Save your money. There’s a salon in Cherry Hill, Jean…look it up. A tiny bit no expensive but they actually care about hair care and can slay a weave!!!
If I could give this place a 0. I would. First off so unprofessional from the hairstylist to the receptionist. I’ve been there 4 times each experience was horrible. The stylist do not communicate & raise prices on the spot. Attempt to do styles they simple can not & discriminate over hair textures. Bad talk to about their clients within their own language. Lastly, they’re waiting times even with an appointment, sad. No compensation or regard for taking clients too close together or taking clients late for their appointments. I will never come back again & waste money there.
Hello. I just wanted to send a message to let you know how disappointed I am in my braids. I came in yesterday (1-21) to get my hair braided. I told my braider I did NOT want big sections of hair for my braids. I do not like braids like that. She sectioned off a part for me and asked me if that size was good. I told her yes. I trusted that she was going to make each single braid section like that but I was very wrong. It is upsetting that I can not trust the braider to do what I asked of them. I’m paying my hard earned money to get my hair done and now I am very unhappy with it. I am attaching a picture so that you can see what I am referring too. The green circled part is the one that she showed me. The ones in the back is 2 to 3 times LARGER. Not to mention I was charged $20 more then what the online price states. I like your shop but sadly I won’t be back.
I had box braids done by Tamara. I have never had my hair braided so quickly! 11am-230pm! She was careful not to pull my thin edges, and not to put too much tension on my thin hair. I didn't think it was going to be tight. It wasn't tight while she was braiding it. But once I got home, I could feel that she really did a good job! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the price. A little high for me. But then again I usually do my own hair in crochet braids. Just not used to paying so much for medium size box braids. I got my hair done for my Caribbean vacation coming up soon. I hope it will last and that the price was well worth it. This will be the test for me if I go back. No problems with staff or atmosphere. Very friendly.
