Erica has built an amazing and beautiful space. She goes way beyond for teaching. I have been going every week for a few months to practice Samba more and I have so much fun every week. The space does not feel like a dance class where you go in and out and it feels anonymous, I feel like I actually get to know Erica and other students in the class. It's also beautiful to see how it draws from so many dance forms and cultures.
I have taken Salsa class there and I love it! It makes me feel more connected to my roots and I love not just learning the steps/styles but all the history/stories behind each step and style. I’m looking forward to taking other classes and expanding my knowledge and experiences through World Art East’s dance classes !
Love taking Samba classes here with Erica! She works you hard, but you always leave with a smile on your face. Highly recommend for all levels
Great price and amazing instruction! The class I took was ADULT BALLET. It was only $20 for an hour (she even gave me and my friend extra time). It was also our first class and she was so patient with us while we were learning the different positions. It also ended up being a great workout too. I live nearby and the only other dance class that I can find is about 30 minutes further away, so I am very happy that this is in my neighborhood!! Definitely come out if you are looking for a fun dance class!
