I've been coming to this studio for over two years. It's a friendly, communal, and humble environment, with a great structured curriculum for those looking to learn salsa and bachata. It's also quite affordable as far as dance classes go, being more wallet-friendly lets you invest more in your dance journey. The schedule is also conducive for folks who work 9-to-5s.
My first time salsa lesson with Tyrone's instruction and explanation of "Salsa On Two" was a pleasurable experience. Tyrone breaks down the foot work which makes it easy to follow. The Same for "shines" pattern foot work. Partner work class with Tyrone was informative and fun, doing basic steps from hand hold position first followed by regular dance position. Anyone taking Tyrone's classes is blessed being his pupil. I highly recommend him.
The staff are very friendly and have created a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Tyrone was a great instructor for beginner 1 & 2. His patience, energy, and feedback made a big difference.
The class with Tyrone was very productive, besides the basic Salsa steps, he introduced us to cumbia, crossover side basic, front and back breaks. He instructed the class with humor and if we had any questions, he was always open to answering them. All in all, the class was quite fun. Tyrone is a fantastic instructor. Thanks Tyrone, Judi B
This is such a friendly and inviting dance studio. The teachers have infectious energy, and Tyrone breaks down the steps really well in the beginner cycles. My husband has been intimidated to learn salsa with me, but the community you've built keeps us both excited to come back every week. Looking forward to growing on our dance journey with SIQ :)
