I have been a member of New Song Community Church since 2017 and I absolutely love being a part this church. Before the lockdown caused by the pandemic we met on Sundays and on Thursdays the women met for small group Bible Study. Now we meet virtually. One of the things I love about New Song is that is not just a church, it’s a church family. The members of the church come from a variety of backgrounds and are at different stages in life; but on Sundays and whenever we meet, in-person or virtually, there’s lots of sharing and laughter, and everyone is included. We care and pray for each other, we support each other. At New Song you will feel at home and experience the warmth of a church family the moment you walk into the room. One of the factors that determines my choice of a church is the Children’s church, because I have two kids, aged 6 and 3. Every week for the last three years, I have been blown away at the fact that although there’s only two kids most of the time, Pastor Audrea diligently holds kids’ church and they have a complete Bible lesson, with singing and activities. On the other hand she is always ready to have new children who visit the church and make them feel at home. The fact that we have not been able meet in-person for seven months has not stopped Kids’ church from holding every single week (virtually). Raising children in the fear of the Lord is of paramount importance for me and for our Pastors too. My children look forward to Sundays because they’re going to have Kids’ Church. Pastor Jonathan’s sermons!!! Our Pastors’ sermons are not up in the sky sermons, but are very relevant to real life everyday issues, the Bible comes to life every Sunday and I am constantly learning how to live out my Christian life practically. Anyone who visits New Song would feel welcomed and would leave blessed.
I find New Song Community Church to be the most diverse and welcoming church that I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The sound doctrinal teaching and casual atmosphere combine to make it the perfect place for spiritual growth for the new believer and long time follower of Jesus alike.
I love my New Song family! The vision of my pastors have encouraged and inspired me to be intentional about the community we serve, along with how to influence the world around me. My life has forever been changed because of giving my life to Christ and now I can add because of my New Song family.
