5-star service from beginning to end: My brother and I had a great experience with the owners of Mr. debonair! My brother wanted something unique to wear for his wedding day that would coordinate with his formal but unique wedding style. He also wanted something that would coordinate with what I, the best man, and all his groomsmen were wearing without clashing. I contacted several custom celebrity trailers from Williamsburg to Dumbo to the upper east side, literally! The shops had some lovely prints, but something just did not click, and the customer service was horrible. When i accidentally stumbled upon Mr. debonair custom tailoring, they were the only ones from whom we walked in the door. The service was superb and they carried a variety of pattern and embroidery options. And the crucial part of our whole experience was they were able to bring my brother’s vision alive, and when the suits, arrived, the quality and the fit were perfect, and we received so many compliments from all guests. I will tell you this as the CEO of an elite New York City organization. The service here was exceptional. You will not be disappointed at all. They have gained regular new customers and I will definitely be using them for my wedding.
I went to Mr. Debonair, with a suit I had recently purchased that made me look like a refrigerator. I had explained that, unfortunately, the reason for my purchase is the impending passing of a loved one. They were understanding and even expedited the alterations. When I returned to pick up the suit, I was ecstatic to find that the suit no longer makes me look like a kitchen appliance, but it is actually slimming. I can't thank the team there enough for their expertise in tailoring as well as their professionalism and courtesy to someone going through a tough time. A million thanks to everyone at Mr. Debonair.
This place is awesome. I came in to get a suit for my wedding and Demetri and Onik did not disappoint. They made the process easy and fun and were super helpful in steering me in the right direction when making design choices. Can't recommend this place enough!
At this moment, my husband is getting fitted for a suit. It's a beautiful atmosphere. Very welcoming and comfortable. The absolute care that Dimitri is giving my husband is AMAZING!! I highly recommend Mr Debonair to anyone looking for a quality suit. This is a lost art. The art of making a beautiful man's suit. Thank you for making my husband comfortable and satisfied.
I recently bought my first suit for a friend's wedding, and knew I needed it tailored—but had no idea how it worked, or what to expect. I decided to pay Demetri and Onik a visit, and had a fantastic experience. They made sure I felt comfortable and welcome from the moment I walked in, explained the entire tailoring process to me, and (unsurprisingly) did a fantastic job with the suit. If you're new to suits like I am, look no further. Mr. Debonair is a no-brainer.
