I wanna give a big shout out to Amanda for allowing me to host my child’s birthday party in her space at such short notice. The transaction was seamless and her communication was everything you would need during such a time crunch. Lux events space was clean! Bathroom, floors, bar, tables, everything. Her space is fool proof! Easy set up for your DJ or hosts to string up their equipment. It was a decent size for our event of roughly 50-60 guests…I mean perfect! We had a BOUNCEHOUSE in there for the kids! We needed extra time to party and she actually answers her phone to any question you have! Thank you so much Amanda!❤️ She definitely has a forever client with me. If you need a space, please book with her! I sincerely recommend. My sister had a baby shower in early August and we found Lux Event Space. It was the perfect place for our intimate vision. From the initial conversation my mother had with the owners, all the way to the event it was a professional experience. What made it truly the icing on the cake was discovering on the day of the event, that I had gone to school with the owners. I love to see young black women living out their dreams, especially when it's evident that it just isn't about the money but the customer's satisfaction. I'm big on that and because of that, I want to recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an event in the Brooklyn area.
I threw my boyfriends 50th birthday party here. We were able to score such a great deal two weeks before the party date. Amanda was so helpful. The hall was spotless and organized. Everything was exactly how she said it was. The chairs were stacked neatly the tables neatly. We were able to set up however we wanted to. The parking out front was such a big help for our guests and parking is available around the hall as well. The air conditioner was FREEZING all the guest were comfortable it was 92 degrees that night. It felt like I was setting up in my own living room. She allows you to come 3 hours before to set up. Most halls only give you 2 hours. Overall great hall and the prices are amazing as well. You won’t be disappointed hosting a party here.
Used Lux Event space for my daughter’s baby shower and it was amazing. From beginning to end everyone was professional and accommodating. We had no issues. Definitely recommend and would definitely use again.
I’ve been to a few events at Lux and I will say they are clean and and the owners are amazing and friendly. It’s a great spot for events and if you need any food or anything extra for an event. The location is perfect because Walgreens is literally across the street. Definitely going to recommend to my friends and family for their next events!
