One of the best places to learn, share or experience hip hop dance in the NYC area! Definitely a place to go and support real culture.
Such a warm and inspiring place. When I walk in I feel ready to dance & work. The studio has everything I need there and I receive the comfort I’ve been missing in a dance space. From the lounge area, to the sitting tables, to the actual dance floor, this place makes me feel fluid; I appreciate all of its “multi-useful” purposes! I’ve done some inspiring work in this place and I’m immensely grateful for my experiences here. I pray it continues to be a home for me & many other woman/ girls looking for space, events, and programming here! Much gratitude to Ladies of Hip Hop & Snipes for this beautiful & dope space!
I love this studio! The location is a perfect 3 min walk from the train station. The space is big and clean! The air is circulating and the heat fills up the entire space!! It's a great place to have a class, host an event and/or create content! And they quickly respond for bookings. I also heard the Ladies of Hip Hop offer some great classes and training programs! If you haven't book it yet, what are you waiting for ?!!! 100000/100000 ✅✅✅
I truly love teaching and rehearsing at this studio space. Very great space for easy commuting and quick eats. The studio is spacious with great lighting, a wonderful sound system, and central air! Additional amenities include a lounge area, two restrooms, a kitchenette, and wood floors 😎. HIGHLY recommend ✨✨ Shout out to LOHH! 🫶🏾
We love the new studio for LOHH! The location is amazingly convenient (2 stops from midtown and only 1 block away from the train station). The studio itself is bright, with multiple dehumidifiers and air conditioning so we can dance in comfort. We also love that there's a kitchenette and a couch / dining area so we have space to just hanging during break. Definitely check out the space and LOHH for events, classes and community!
