Been there three times each time I order the oxtails and rice and peas, so delicious and tender love the sauce. The oxtail flat bread is a must try. I try something new each time as well. This time was the Mac and cheese and was definitely a miss! It taste like the there was good cheese on top and cheap cheese in the rue sauce. Camilo was excellent and attentive to the table and took it off the bill as he noticed no one in the party was eating it. Can't wait for my next visit to try the fish.

This was a great find by one of my friends. We all (8 in total) wanted to go somewhere nice ti to eat and then walk to the nearby park (Inlet Park) to watch the fireworks on July 4th. This place was very nice; their decor was amazing, like an oasis in this concrete jungle. The host was nice, albeit disappearing from time to time. The drinks were nice and light and the food was good. One thing I wondered was, "Can there be too much truffle on fries?" Yes, in this case, it was; my friend like them though, so I gave the rest to her. It was a bit pricey per person, but maybe it's due the holiday. Overall, it's a nice restaurant. Would I go back? Maybe Please Note: If about 90% or 100% of your party isn't there, they won't sit you down. I found it interesting since our reservation was 15 minutes after they opened, and there wasn't even a crowd. Just something to keep in mind.

Great food and a nice combination of Caribbean and eclectic fare. Wasn't too happy about the basement seating. Next time I will request the first floor or outside. The oxtail Flatbread was delicious. The server was very pleasant and the staff sang Happy Birthday for us. Wonderful evening.

Been wanting to come here for a while, and the Friday bottomless brunch did not disappoint! We got the fish sandwich and the lamb, both were delicious. The waitress (her name may have been Leah?) went above and beyond with attentive service, refilling our mimosas before they were ever empty. The interior decor is beautiful. I can’t wait to return for dinner one day. Love this place!

Went here as a part of NYC Restaurant Week. The place has a very nicely decorated lively and green outside terrace, and a chic, small venue downstairs which is where they sat me and my partner. The food is really good. We especially enjoyed the salmon in coconut-tomato sauce with yucca purée - highlight of the night! Jerk chicken was ok, but tried better in other Caribbean spots. Stuffed plaintains are a delight, with each bite bringing new flavor and mussels in coconut curry are a must if you, like me enjoy the charred flavors. Desserts: a lot of people said good stuff about the passion fruit sorbet so we chose that - was ok, but nothing special. Rum cake was delicious and moist, but very very sweet. Cocktails are inventive and interesting and worth trying as well. Service was nice, but because room is so small the waiters attending tables were constantly walking next to our table so it does not make for a very intimate atmosphere or conversation. I also have to point out a weird thing - this place is a bit pricey and has a chic style, which to me suggests elevated experience, and a few minutes after we walked in there was a professional photographer taking pictures of all the patrons, which were later brought to us a a stack of frames ready for sale - it was tacky and in my personal view a bit out of place! Overall it’s really good food, but pretty expensive for the experience you get.
