Joshua and his wife Anye photographed my husband and I for our engagement pictures and our wedding and everything about the experience was top tier! They are an amazing team and made us feel super confident throughout the whole experience. They had my husband feeling himself and he doesn’t even normally like taking pictures. They give great direction for posing and go above and beyond for the perfect shots. They are also super personable. They were joking around and getting to know my family. The turn around time is also quick for final pictures. It was just a 100/10 experience!
There is no better photographer than Joshua Dwain! We booked Josh to capture our engagement and wedding photos. His eye is a gift from G-d as every shot he captured was pure magic, from the decor, to the guests, to the wedding party. Even more, him and Anye are consummate professionals, guiding poses, lighting, etc. Prior to booking Josh, we spoke to several "high-end" popular photographers, and we are so thankful we decided to work with Josh. My husband and I had the privilege of working with Matt Ellis for our wedding and engagement shoot in July 2017. The compliments about our pictures have not stopped since then!! Matt is an amazing photographer and was wonderful to work with throughout our wedding process. As someone who hates taking pictures he really put me at ease and showed us exactly what to do to make our poses fantastic! Your album and proofs will come right away! Matt Ellis of Joshua Dwain photographed my wedding in Brooklyn this past July. The process from start to finish was seamless: booking to filling out the questionnaires to speaking to Matt on the phone so he could get to know us better as a couple and what we were looking for in our wedding pictures. On our wedding day, Matt and his team captured all of the pictures we wanted (including directing family and friends to get in and out of pictures!) and stayed within the schedule our wedding planner set. It was very impressive. During our ceremony and reception, we didn't even notice Matt. We were BLOWN AWAY by the pictures and how he was able to capture emotions, feelings, and movement. His pictures genuinely capture our wedding day and tell our wedding day story. It's truly amazing how we're able to look at the pictures and remember how we felt during those moments and even look at the pictures and relive some of the moments we weren't able to observe firsthand. I highly recommend Matt and can't wait to have him photograph another milestone in our lives. Matt, you're a true artist.
