I went into wedding planning thinking a coordinator was kind of pointless. BOY WAS I WRONG! I am so thankful I booked Ivory events day of coordinator services. They helped me early on with vendors lists and ideas, we had multiple meetings prepping for the day of. I had a very bad experience with a makeup artist I had booked and they actually reached out to that vendor and got me out of the contract and my deposit refunded. That alone was well worth the money. Day of was super rainy and Mireya was incredible and handled all of the venue set up, I only had to worry about getting ready. She checked on me to make sure I was eating and that we were following the schedule and helped push the venue to letting us wait before deciding to move the ceremony indoors. After pre ceremony pictures, she went to town on my dress with a Tide pen. She was just so wonderful and sent videos and pictures she took of the day. Mireya and another gal from Ivory Events made sure my husband and I ate first and had plates with cake and snacks later on. The next day I heard they even bounced a few wedding crashes from the events. There were so many things they handled that I had no idea happened. Cant say enough good things about working with them! Mireya really knocked it out of the park! Thank you for the most perfect day!
Wonderful wedding planners and were incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding process. Ask to work with Kourtney Bernhardt! She truly goes above and beyond for her brides, makes you feel like you are heard, and that she has your back 100%. For her alone I would work with this company again. Love them!
We have to admit that were hesitant at first to invest in event planning services for our wedding, but we don't regret going with Ivory Events! We really wanted our wedding to feel laid-back and focus on family and friends spending time together. Honey and her team listened to our vision from the beginning and did not pressure us to make our day more "traditional". Sarah L. was our lead coordinator and was absolutely fantastic. From the many many emails, walkthrough at the venue, planning meeting, to the the day-of coordination, she went above and beyond our expectations and took care of every last detail. She worked with all our vendors, helped set up and clean up, and most importantly freed us and our family and friends to simply enjoy the night. If you are getting married at the Lyons Farmette definitely choose Ivory Events and ask for Sarah. She knows the venue and has an expert eye for carrying out your vision (and I'm sure this is not limited to the Farmette!).
Working with Ivory Events was amazing! We hired them for month of planners for our wedding in October 2021, but they truly helped out since the time that we booked them in August 2020. They responded quickly to every email and question I had. We would have monthly check-ins to see everything was going well. When it came to the wedding weekend Emily and Mireya were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive and professional, but also passionate and kind. They made my husband and I feel so special and loved the whole weekend!
We began planning our daughters wedding a full year before the July, 2016 wedding date. As we navigated through the details, it became clear that as the magical date got closer and closer, there were many details that needed to be drawn together. In other words, we started to freak out that we were overlooking items that would make this the most memorable day of our daughter's life. We realized in February of 2016 that we could not plan this occasion by ourselves. Through an online search and many sterling reviews, we met with Honey and was totally impressed with her professionalism and ideas she was able to offer extemporaneously in our initial meeting. We hired her and Ivory Events Colorado on the spot. This was the best decision we made in planning our daughter's wedding. Honey and her staff were extremely easy to work with and offered suggestions while always keeping the bride and groom's desires for their special day in mind. The staff of Ivory Events Colorado worked well with the wedding venue and all other vendors contracted with to help make this day so special. In summary, we could not have managed this day without the assistance and knowledge of Ivory Events Colorado. They garner our highest recommendation and we would not hesitate to use them again for the planning and execution of a special occasion. Our only regret is that we did not bring them on board earlier in the planning process. Thank you Honey and look forward to working with you again !
