I had such an amazing experience here. From how easy and professional the booking process was, to a clean and comfortable/professional space, I was really impressed with this business before I even sat down for my lash appointment. Christina, the lash tech, made me feel so comfortable, and did an amazing job! She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and even helped me text back one of my colleagues during the appointment. 10/10!
Rae Beauty is one of the most professional salons I’ve been to. Not only is the staff always welcoming, offering treats and refreshments, they never have you waiting long. Their facility is bright and clean, and overall just a comfortable place to be. The location is also easily accessible via subway. I’ve only recently started visiting this salon about two months ago, after I decided to cut my locs (which I had for 20 years). My barber, Kenshy, was so patient and accommodating, ensuring me that I was going to feel great after my cut—which I did. I’ve already recommended Rae to my friends and really can’t sing their praises enough.
I LOVE this salon, although it’s so much more than that. All of the stylists and assistants show how much they care about their clients. I’ve been working with the entire team for over a year (sew-ins, microlinks, crochet braids, knotless braids - I’ve tried it all) and it feels like these ladies are my family! Accommodating, thoughtful, honest and kind. It’s a premium service with a premium experience which is exactly what I was looking for. The way they treat clients is just the bonus.
I absolutely love Hair by Rae Salon! I have been twice, first time for the beauty supply store and when I tell you the products are a God Send! The black soap is so bomb for my skin and the oil I use for my hair has helped keep it healthy moisturized and even its growing girl! Second time I went to get lash extensions and I am not going to lie I was scared. I haven't had lash extensions in 10 years due to how uncomfortable they are but babyyyy I can't feel them they are so full and I feel like a badddddiee! Also having a luxury salon as a black women that caters to your needs is amazing. The customer service, the snacks (Girl they got MOET), the decor and lighting just all a yes! I travel all the way from Jersey to go to this salon because every time I leave I look good and I feel good! You need a sign to go, THIS IS IT!!
Such a wonderful experience. From the ambiance to the stylists and the styling. The ladies at the salon are very warm and welcoming. Jen is exceptional and does well at curating a professional and elevated Salon experience. Rae had been doing my hair for the past 8 months. She has taught me so much about my hair and provides tips for hair care as well as elaborates on the specific techniques used for the health of my hair and hair goals. PS: yes, the extension are luxurious 10/10
