It’s been years since I’ve had Footprints but I remember the taste of the jerk chicken Rasta pasta. I went here for that and a salad with salmon. Most of the salads come with a description, however the one with fish did not describe the salad. I asked the cashier if she could describe what would be in my salad. $17 for a salad is a little steep but I figured it was the fish. The cashier goes on to say the types of fish I can get, how it can be prepared (failing to mention it would cost extra for a sauce), choice of dressing and then she started to describe the salad. She says “ cucumber, tomato, cabbage, carrots, avocado, mango, and pineapple.” I said “wow the avocado mango and everything comes in there? Yeah I want all of that”. I get home excited to taste this salad to see it has barely a handful of lettuce. A few thin slices of tomato and cucumber. NO AVOCADO NO MANGO NO PINEAPPLE NO DRESSING!! I called because I thought this must be a mistake because the salad they described was not what I received. It should not be advertised as a salmon salad more so salmon that comes with a portion of salad. The stars came from the actual taste of the food but from what i was told and what I received and the way it was dealt with. It’s a no for me.
The Rasta Pasta was Excellent! But the Red Velvet & Carrot Cake was not good at all. The Cream was really😗.. Wasn't even cooked fully🤦🏾♂️ But the Food Was Great. Kiss the Chef Fire the Baker lol.
The hype about this place was unreal. I finally get to Brooklyn and just so happen to be walking distance from footprints. I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas and sweet plantains. My wife ordered the rasta pasta with the cajun chicken breast. The oxtails order was amazing. I got a very nice amount of oxtails and rice and peas. They were amazing. The rasta pasta was a huge disappointment as the pasta was very over cooked and tasted horrible. The cajun chicken breast was not even cajun and had some spicy sauce on top that give it all its flavor and spice. The chicken breast itself was not seasoned very much. If I ever go back it will be for the oxtails. At $22 for the large it was well worth it. They have a valentine's day menu if anyone is intrested I'm sure not!!

That’s Health code violation when the food rich to me it was so cold and disgusting please I beg of you let your people take the food protections course at the health department and food will come out of your kitchen perfectly for human consumption. I expect better Rasta pasta it’s not about the money it’s about good food ethics and practices. I am a personal home chef and I take pride in what I do. That’s important blessings!
My food came at the perfect temperature. The cold item came cold. The hot items came hot. I like the carrot juice even though its on the sweet side. There is a strong taste of essence or something. I can't figure out the flavor. Almost like rum flavored essence. The family like the jerk chicken by itself but not the sauce. The rice came hot and at a good capacity. I figured I ordered at the right time and the right day. Everything 95% perfect .
