The service and ambiance were great, even if the music was just a little bit too loud..... The fried shrimp and oysters for a start was incredible. The Caesar salad with fried oysters was over the top. Good that dressing was thick like a paste and tasted amazing! The critique I would have would be for the vegetarian gumbo which did not seem to have very much flavor at all. Did I mention the service was over the top good?

Food is always so delicious here! I’ve been here twice for dinner and once for lunch and all three times were great! Staff is friends and service is quick. I love the food and the drinks! Best to come with friends and family for a celebration or just for some after work drinks. They’re one of the few places that understand when you say you want something spicy which I greatly appreciate!

This was my second time stopping in, and the waitress Mercedes was super pleasant & Patient as my Best friend had never had oysters and was worried about things she had heard about in the news recently regarding them. Mercedes elaborated the difference btwn raw and cooked and convinced her to try and boy did she enjoy them. The ambiance is amazing the entire staff is warm & welcoming the food is outstanding. I can’t wait to go back.

This place was incredible. Was on a short layover in NY and this came up in my research. Some of the best food I've had in the US. Gumbo and BBQ prawns are highly recommended! Could prob give the fried seafood a miss. Good but not as unique. Deep balanced umami flavour, fresh seafood. Contrasting textures. Spice levels were quite mild for me. Great service and vibes too!

I came here before a play with my mother and two aunts. Now, I visit New Orleans fairly often so I am very well versed on Creole food. If you are looking for a taste of NOLA while in NYC I definitely suggest this place. Upon arriving we only had about an hour to dine but our server make note to watch time for us. She also made great suggestions and was very attentive the entire time. The food was good. I would give it an 8.5. My favorites would have to be the crawfish bread and the hot honey chicken thigh. Everyone at the table loved the red beans and rice as well. The gumbo and spicy shrimp hit the spot as well. However, I would say you can skip the bread pudding. Overall, I had a great experience and will be back. If you liked this review follow me on Instagram at @sirgoodeats for more.
