My daughter has attended CKDS for a few years and made it to their apprentice company this year. I love what they do with the dancers in the program! They develop them to be beautiful dancers, allow them to express themselves through the art of dance, and also teach them some key qualities in life (being supportive of your classmates, being on time, having discipline). Ms. King and her team are dedicated to the dancers and families in the program and are committed to their work. The community is very lucky to have such an amazing organization.
Cynthia King Dance Studio is the absolute best! The staff and teachers are professional, caring and attentive. My nieces took classes here for about 10 years and now my daughter takes ballet and Ms King runs a tight ship, the Spring performances are always phenomenal and so well executed.
This was our daughter's first year with Cynthia King's studio (she's 7 years old) and we could not be happier. Ms. King is amazing in every way but especially in the way she teaches and talks to the dancers! I feel so lucky that we found CKDS. If you are looking for a serious program with excellent teachers and a warm community, this is your place.
We love CKDS! Our daughter has had such a positive experience and grown as a dancer and in her self-confidence. The social justice orientation of the studio is a huge plus as well. Wonderful teachers, great communication, and amazing community!
A fantastic environment for kids to learn dance, with talented instructors who instill skills and focus. A well-run organization with enthuasistic and lovely staff. My daughter has been taking classes for several years and looks forward to dancing and to seeing her friends every week.
