I had a milestone birthday coming up, and my family (husband and 2 college-age children) were eager for international travel. We've been self-sufficient with our travel plans for a long time. Because this one really mattered to me, I decided to work with Michelle. It was a wise decision. She helped me identify what my criteria were, researched and gave me itineraries for 3 different locations. A challenge is the 4 of us like different things! I decided on Costa Rica, and then Michelle pulled it altogether. She came up with a good itinerary, heard our feedback and graciously made the changes we wanted. I suspect we were challenging clients, but she never made us feel that way. Our vacation was seamlessly organized with our desired wonderful itinerary, she was there in the few instances we needed her and we had a wonderful time. In the end, she saved us time and money -- yet respected our autonomy. Thank you, Michelle.
My family and I used Conversational Traveler for our family vacation to Boston and Martha's Vineyard. They carefully planned all aspects of our vacation and anticipated our needs. Michelle, Lead Travel Advisor, was detailed, and she got us additional amenities during our stay in Boston. When we had last-minute changes to our travel dates, they easily accommodated our changes. Overall, we had a beautiful vacation, and Conversational Traveler made the planning process easier and stress-free for our busy family. From the start of my planning to the completion of my trip, Michelle and her network were on top of every detail. So many places to see in the world, and if you are anything like me, you have too many personal travel preferences(LOL). Michelle took her time and provided various travel destinations, stay options, and budget options too. As a single gay male, it was key to be in a country that offered a welcoming and safe retreat, and thankfully Michelle took this into careful consideration. When I arrived to my lovely room, I was met with birthday and HNY greetings, a bottle of champagne, and everyone was so attentive to my needs - literally everyone the whole trip! If anything would have been a challenge, Michelle was ready via text and/or a call away. As a solo traveler this is key, especially out of the US. So in a nutshell, I recommend Michelle ten times over. She travels frequently, can speak intelligently to all your personal travel needs, and cares about her clients having amazing memories!! Conversational Traveler helped me plan a vacation to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. My husband and I had destinations we wanted to visit or see again in the Caribbean. Our all-inclusive luxury resort was beautiful and met our meticulous requirements. Furthermore, the planning process was easy. Planning vacations myself is fun, and not once did I feel excluded from an activity I thoroughly enjoy. A travel agency that promptly responded when we had a last-minute request while out of the country is priceless. Getting additional perks through a travel agency is a plus. Michelle helped us plan our European vacation that covered Rome, Amalfi Coast, and Paris. We customized every aspect of our vacation, which allowed us to spend time and money on the activities that were important to us. The support from Conversational Traveler was exceptional when we needed to rebook flights because of a cancellation by the airline and ensure we received a timely refund after the tour company changed the meeting location without telling us. As disconcerting as these situations are, I’ll admit it was reassuring having a Travel Advisor resolving issues as they arise.
