Ill start with the positives: 1. Easy online ordering process. Very simple process. 2. Great customer service. They were so friendly when I called to confirm the order and when I came to pick up the order 3. Timely/Professional pick up service. The order was ready when it was scheduled and I had no issues on their behalf. I actually messed up and only ordered a dozen by accident and they had the same flavor readily available for purchase the day of pick up. This was extremely helpful. Now the cons: 1. They tasted just okay. If I had one word to describe them it would be edible. There wasn’t much moisture, a little dry with no mouth watering effect. 2. Very pricey. Almost $70 for a dozen cupcakes isn’t affordable. This is why I thought I ordered more cupcakes. In total I spent almost $200 for birthday cupcakes. 3. The appearance of the store is messy. I didn’t know what I was walking into but they look like they were working hard. I was glad to try this place out, it came recommended from someone I know but I won’t be back mainly for the taste. Considering the price, I want to be wowed. Just wanted to come and give my genuine review. All the best!
The cakes do not hold up well at all being shipped and will arrive looking nothing as pictured. I ordered a $150 cake that had an $80+ shipping cost and it arrived badly damaged. I would never order another cake from here to be shipped. Edit: Kate reached out to me and offered reimbursement for the cake and shipping cost. Although the cake did not arrive as intended, they stood by the product and I appreciated the level of customer service shown by Kate.
Went in there to check it out with my lady after finding out it was black owned. We were welcomed by a lady who was friendly and professional. I forgot her name. She gave me and my lady a complimentary cupcake Mines was a blue velvet and her’s was lemon. She enjoyed hers and I just ate mines. It was great. Not too sweet. We also got cake jars (I got strawberry). Can’t wait to try it. I would come back again. Some may find the food to be pricey. We didn’t. You pay good money for good food. Support black.
I’m speechless I stumbled upon this gem heaven on earth from searching Google for a birthday cake for my daughter first birthday… I can’t believe how lucky and blessed I was finding this place by accident … Amazjng job on her cake is an understatement! And in my opinion there prices are extremely reasonable especially for the 5 star quality that you will be getting ! This place made my day and almost made me cry in a good eat when I saw my daughters cake
I ordered a cake for my son, not realizing i put the wrong pick up date. When I got there they didn't make the cake, cause they were going with the date I put (which was wrong date). They was nice enough to make my cake for me last minute and it came out beautiful and it was delicious.
