Beautiful shop and friendly staff, and I met the owner who was very gracious. I didn't have a particular style, but my stylist, Khalil, showed me some of the many photos that helped me decide. They have some body products for sale but i didnt notice any for the hair, considering it is a hair salon. The only thing I was not happy about was when I walked in, the 2 guys behind the counter did say hello but went back to their conversation instead of asking who my appointment was with so I'd know next steps which is why I gave 4 stars. Other than that, I'd go back again. The cut and atmosphere worth the money.
The moment I entered AFG, my husband and I was greeted by the owner, Adrian. He directed us to Nicole’s area to check in. Nicole greeted us and showed us where we can hang our jackets. She then ask me if I mind waiting a few minutes to complete a client. A few minutes later, she escorted me to her salon. She asked me what cut I wanted, then proceeded to assess my hair and scalp. Nicole relaxed my hair. I had no burning or tingling! She didn’t over process my hair. She gave me a treatment. Her hands are so gentle, I fell asleep! I thought I was at a spa! I gave her freedom to cut my hair that would be easier to maintain without applying much heat. She even taught me to maintain my hair between visits. Overall! AFG is a professional establishment with elegance and friendly overtones! You will not be disappointed! Every client that were attended to had a smile!
I would give this barbershop 10 stars if I could! This is hands down the best barbershop I have ever been to, and I am extremely peculiar about my haircuts and barbershop. The quality and consistency of the cuts is always A1. The barbers really care about their craft and do not operate in a transactional way. You would be hard pressed to find a better barber experience.
I found this salon on Instagram through a content creator whose cut always looks great. I booked a last minute big chop appointment. Such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The young man at the front desk was very polite. The environment is clean and light (in terms of brightness and vibes). I was mentally prepared to just get a cut and go but what I got was a full experience. Ahmir did an initial cut with the scissors to get most of the length off. He then washed and deep conditioned my hair before proceeding with the remainder of the cut, including the design. I felt AMAZING when I walked out of there. I would highly recommend.
So for starters I've been following the barber Adrian Fanus on Instagram for two years now I finally booked my big chop on Sept 17,2022. I love love my hair. Adrian was awesome ! His vibe and the shop vibe is immaculate. It is also super clean and has great greenery. He has now become my barber and always does a great job. He always makes sure I am comfortable at every appointment. The picture with nails was taken by his son by the way. Be ready for a photo shoot ! Recommend always !
