Best salon experience I’ve ever had! Went here with my sister a week before her wedding and was apprehensive about doing color/highlights as I have had mostly negative experiences at other salons. But my stylist, Diamond, listened to exactly what I wanted and the results are even better than I could have expected. The stylists here are also so friendly, warm, and welcoming. Overall, outstanding experience and I Will be back
All of the hairdressers at the salon are great. I recently had a haircut with Gloria. She was so attentive and warm. It makes the biggest difference having somebody so attentive and caring.
One of the worst salon ever, don’t ever waste your money in here. My sister had thick, curly hair and I asked them to make her hair thin and lessen it using whatever technique. Also, I specifically asked for keratin treatment to straighten her hair. The service costed us $700 and after 3 days days her hair was back to normal. Her hair still had the frizz, curl and thickness. There was no change. If the keratin treatment wouldn’t make her hair frizz free or straight they should have told me that from beginning ; i could have chosen a different treatment that would straighten her hair. I called them and they asked me to wait. I have never heard back from them. It’s been over a month and still no response.
Cannot possibly thank Marlene and Sydney enough. Following a terrible cut of my tricky curly hair at another salon, Marlene made me feel super comfortable and optimistic about my hair’s ability to grow back. Marlene and Sydney both spent time listening to me describe what had gone wrong with my cut at the other salon, and Marlene took time to carefully assess the issues and then proceeded to give me one of the best blow outs I have ever gotten which made me feel much much much better about my appearance. I look forward to my next visit to the 718 Dumbo salon and to working with Marlene as my unruly curly and hard to cut hair grows back to my more usual and desired length. I cannot be more grateful to have found Marlene. With my most sincere thanks.
Karen is FANTASTIC! Such an incredible talent. The salon is very lucky to have her. The salon itself is very chic and clean. I felt comfortable, yet pampered. Looking forward to my next cut!
