I came to the venue while visiting from CT. Really enjoyed myself! Food was good, warm and plentiful! Basically all you can eat! Drinks were good and the music was a vibe. Really nice and pretty hostess and the assistant manager Dominique was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Doorman with the cowboy hat was a bit rude but non the less my friends and I had a great time! Feeling satisfied and relaxed on this Sunday. Good job to the The Venue staff! See you next time I’m in town. ✌🏾😎

I was invited for a birthday brunch. Arrived at 12 and there was a line. Since we prepaid we were able to walk right in. We already had a huge area reserved so no issues with seating. Actually one side of the room belonged to our party. Not long after we got there our server ce over to introduce herself. She was awesome. They opened up the kitchen and because we got in early it didn't take too long to get our food but the line can get long. As far as the food, it was good to me. I'm not a foodie so I don't put too much thought into it...but...that macaroni was bussin. The DJ & MC was great. The vibe is nice. Beautiful decor. I was warned prior to going that it could get hot but it wasn't too bad. The middle section is cooler and the outside sections are a little warmer. We danced, drank, ate & had a great time. -Charlotte NC

Too hot needed so more cool air flowing. Too much standing....to me the cover charge should had been at the door and not in the back where the buffet starts. Our waitress, Imani, was not the friendliest......she tolerated us to say the least. The music and the overall atmosphere was really nice. But I will not be returning.

An another one ☝️ so this post is indifferent only because of the 45 minutes we had to wait to enter the door. We showed up for Sunday brunch and got in line at 11:25 and were practically near the front; they were supposed to open at noon, but getting everyone in and seated was longer than the usual process. Once we got inside, the vibe was there; the music 🎶 was hitting, the food 🥘 was banging, and the decor was on point. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay long because my friend had to catch her flight, so we ate, soaked up the vibe, and jetted to the airport. I don’t know how operations are on other days, so I can only attest to Sunday brunch and my experience. So if you plan on going and have never been, please get in line an hour early or plan to be in line for an hour or more.

I am from out of town, and this place was recommended as best black owned local spot. However, I get it waiting in line is usually on the table but this place was a little excessive. It was a 45 min to get inside, and then another 45 mins to get food. On top of this you have to pay once you get in $35...I was super pissed because on line it stated "buffet, all you can eat." Had I known we would only have a minimal options, I would not have paid upon entry. By the time we got to the "buffet," the food options were limited, the food was not hot. I was expecting more food options, and when it says buffet, I am expecting a buffet. The atmosphere keeps you going but that's it. To include, the mimosas also was not up to expectations. I love black owned establishments but a more efficient way of the waiting process, and also understanding that the food is limited, and not a buffet. I would not recommend due to waiting period for entryand food. But if you are looking for a nice atmosphere with amazing music, this is the spot!
