AMAZING SERVICE. PHENOMENAL WOMAN. BEAUTIFUL SOUL.!!!!! Ms. Tina is the best of the best . I had a few weeks to go before my wedding and I was very very stressed about my wedding hair look. I found The Black Pearl Durham after reviewing options and God blessed me with everything I needed. She was kind ,listened, effective, and prompt communication. I sent her photos of what I envisioned and she created the perfect look for me. I did a trial and was soooo happy with the outcome!!! On my wedding day she went above and beyond. We had prepped my hair the night before...adding the extensions ..washing..color etc. On wedding day we styled and got me ready in no time. She locked down my bridesmaids looks and even touched up a few who had hair done prior to flying in. Mannnnnn everyone looked stunning. And and she graciously chauffeured my best friend and I to wedding venue so I can retreat early to the bridal dressing room. What a Blessing to have such a person in my presence on such a special day ..everyone ..my mom..grandma..sisters..friends..can.feel the amazing person she is and the skill and passion she puts into her work. Thank you forever !!!!.
What an amazing experience. I absolutely love what Ms. Katina was able to accomplish with my hair. My color turned out better than what I expected bc of the darkness of my natural hair color. My trim and style was ON POINT. Ms. Katina is so awesome and knowledgeable. I left with so much more than I came for🥰🥰. Looking forward to my next appointment.
I had my first appointment with Mrs. KATINA on August 4, 2023, I knew without a doubt that God sent me to her salon. She is a blessing to my soul, spirit, and an artist for my hair. Over the years, I have not had a pleasant experience when it came to getting my hair done, but as soon as I spoke to her on the phone, I knew that I was going to be very happy with the job that she done on my hair, I am 100% satisfied with the job that she did on my hair, thank God for her, I will never be able to thank her enough, all the glory to God. Thank you so much Mrs. KATINA for the woman of God that you are and for your blessings that you give to the people who come to your salon.
Ms. Katina KNOWS hair!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting; Grade A sanitation. The quality she provides is worth every penny spent! Her method of scheduling appointments is very organized and professional. She reviewed my hair care routine, products used, and made reasonable suggestions that will enhance the health and quality of my hair. I’ve been on this natural journey for about 3-4 years; weaning from relaxers, and I’ve NEVER had anyone educate me on my hair the way Ms. Katina did!!! This is an investment with lifetime benefits! I WILL be back!!
Ms. Tina was very knowledgeable and kind. She gave me tips to keep my hair healthy & retain length. And although I had a good amount of damage, Ms Tina preserved a lot of my healthy length. She also maintained COVID-safe practices, which made me feel safe. I will absolutely be returning to Ms Tina.
