Where to start? First off, I called and received same day appointment. The owner of the salon was so sweet and accommodating. She took her time to explain everything to ensure I was getting everything I wanted. Don’t sleep! I received one weft mircolink extensions and doesn’t even feel like I have anything in. Got me looking like a snack! 😂 Worth every penny.
Since going natural, I haven't had the best experiences with salons/stylist in the area so you can understand my reluctance as I scoured IG looking for potential salons. I set an appointment my daughter and I at Beyond Royalty and boy, was I pleasantly surprised by our overall experiences! The beauty bar was spotless, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the veteran stylists (Quen, and owner, Brittney) provided phenomenal service! I'm so excited to have found a new home for my daughter and I! Don't hesitate...make your appointment now! I promise you won't be disappointed :)
This place is a one stop shop for beauty! I mainly come here to get knotless braids done by Da'yonna. She does an amazing job for a good price. 5/6/2023 For the past year I have been going to this shop exclusively and have recommended this shop to my various friends and family. Understandably the prices have risen due to inflation; yet, I have noticed that the service has declined significantly. There were minor distasteful interactions throughout my time here, but I have overlooked them because no one is perfect. HOWEVER Today's incident was the LAST time we will be giving this shop our business. My grandmother came in today for a simple hair appointment. The hairstylist was 30 minutes late. When she arrived she explained to my grandmother that her hair was unmanageable. Interestingly, the previous time she had her hair done was at that shop. She washed her hair and sent her on her way. Your true character is shown on how you treat children and the elderly. I still recommend Da'yonna, as she is a very great braid stylist.
Such a great experience here with amazing customer service. Anayah is so talented and took her time with my hair which was tangled really bad from being in a sew in for too long. She had great customer service and did a wonderful job on my hair. I’ll definitely be recommending and returning.
Today was my first time coming into to the shop as a walk in appt. It was beautiful but the service was not good. I came in to get a silk press. Natalie was my stylist, as soon as she sat me in the shampoo chair and I took off my bonnet. The first thing that comes out of her mouth was “ is your hair easy to smooth through” meanwhile she’s white and I’m black. Definitely thought that was a racial slur. Then she barely washed my hair and never comb the condition through my hair but sat me under the dryer and wash it out. My hair looks like a bushy dog. Overall she does not know how to do hair and I won’t ever come back. There is no professionalism in the shop at all.
