Catching up on reviews. I went to see Kelly Price and Musiq on 04-16-22. I also saw Dru Hill on 06-11-22. All pictures are from April. April was my first time at the venue. The time stamp on the line picture is 8:26 pm. The picture with the cones, 8:52 pm. The event was supposed to start at 8 pm. The wait time was horrible! I'd said I'd never return. My love for Dru Hill is why I didn't keep my word. I didn't have to pay for parking in April. I parked in the grass. It looked like every vehicle in a space had to pay. In June, I had to pay. My friend didn't have cash for the Dru Hill show; they were nice enough to let me take cash to her. I had general admission tickets both times. Besides having a seat, it didn't seem to be a benefit to having vip, & that's based on the complaints I heard from people who had vip tickets. Service from the bartenders was inconsistent at best. Usually, they were more interested in dancing & being on their phones than serving. There are several registers but at times, there were 2 bartenders for everyone (a lot more people than everyone pictured). Need a lot more bartending to balance the ratio of paying customers. There was at least a 30 minute wait before being acknowledged in April. Wondering if there's a connection to the Press Box; they kept advertising for that venue. You can be profitable without robbing people. Parking for $20 is highway robbery. Very seriously doubt I'd return.
Place is trash. First they charged $20 to park. They said that the show started at 7... they didn't open the doors until 7:30. There was no order, people were shipping the lines after most of us had to wait in line for 2 hours. We had to listen to local artists perform which was ok, but their sets were longer than the main act. The main act only sung 5 songs after the crowd waited almost 4 hours. I hope no one holds any other concerts here. Don't waste your money.
Surprise! It costs $20 to park here. The venue is nice, but parking fees are a pet peeve of mine. I already bought tickets to support the event/venue. I don't need to pay again to park in the dilapidated parking lot. Also everything is overpriced inside just like any other event venue. Nothing special.
Charged $20 to park for an hour event. They had general admission and meet and greet in the same line and waited 30 mins for show to try and split everyone up. General admission got to go in 5 mins before show started. Didn’t check anyone’s bags but felt down a few people before going in. Very unsafe. Anyone could have had a weapon. Very unorganized. Definitely won’t be going back here.
Very nice venue to host an event. 2 levels allowing for seated VIP upstairs. 2 bars and able to order food. Not sure it has much to do venue or event host but it should be made public cost of parking for particular event. Most people don't carry cash so knowing parking is going to be $20 needs to be made clear to quest before they arrive for the event.
