AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! I have lived on 5 of the 7 continents on this planet and this was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was getting ready to move back to the US from Germany. I was looking for something fully furnished and found this and quickly booked it as I was busy with all of the moving stuff that I had. 24 hours later, I get an email asking me to check in online. I click the link and they are asking me to upload numerous personal documents as well as a picture of my credit card. I did not feel comfortable checking in this way, so I called them and asked to check in, in-person. They told me that unless I checked in online, they were going to cancel my reservation and keep my money. I was dumbfounded. I could not believe this was what I was hearing. I had no choice but to keep my reservation because after talking with numerous CS people (all who were completely useless) , they told me the reservation was non-refundable and that I could cancel but they would keep the money. So after being bullied to supply them all of my personal information as well as all of my credit card information online, my reservation was made. Or at least I thought. I got no emails or any feedback, so I assumed it was all good. 24 hours before I left Germany, I called just to verify. GUESS WHAT?!? The reservation was not complete because they were missing some information that they still needed. Thanks for letting me know. Good thing I was pro-active and reached out. After once again, uploading MORE personal documents and information onto the internet, they finally confirmed the reservation. Finally, I have arrived at the place that I don't want to stay and I am greeted with a broken phone in the room (kind of important for the land line to work when you move from overseas as you have no cell service) AND really bad water pressure. Like, we were taking showers from the sink as it was easier. After waiting for 4 days, the water pressure issues was finally fixed...and the phone still doesn't work (probably to this day). The CS rep they had on site acted like I was interrupting their personal time when I asked for the phone to be fixed They just told me to use my cell phone. After living overseas for 4 years straight, I was looking forward to coming back to the US and enjoying my home country for some time. The whole experience just made the homecoming feel very bad and the appalling way this company treated it customers was unacceptable. Once again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not flexible, not helpful, and frankly, overcharge for what you get.
Not entirely sure how this location received such high praise because the customer service team took over seven days to respond back to my concerns. We booked our ten-day stay and realized upon arriving that 50 meters away a construction site begins drilling every morning at 0700. IT was VERY LOUD. I attempted to reach out to be re-located, but the customer service team did not reply back. I tried calling their number and no response. After the four email and seven days, I received a notification informing me that I would receive an extra hour for check-out due to the construction site. Yeaaah great... I normally do not write negative reviews, but this experience was shocking and I want others to avoid a similar encounter. Luxury Global never stated an active construction site is within 50 meters of this location. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Also, the room was not clean. Hairs everywhere..
We enjoyed our stay in Global Luxury Suites. The apartment is very spacious and sparkling clean. The location is within walking distance from Shirlington Village where there are many restaurants and coffee ships.
A lovely place to stay while visiting Washington D.C. this particular stay was spoiled by two or three internet marketing companies who got their fingers into our rental dollars. We learned after we were there that we could have saved 30% of our money spent for this lodging by simply contacting the facility where we stayed. Location was great for visiting Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima memorial. The location was easy on for the interstate Network and the bridge to cross over to Washington National Airport, Georgetown or The Monuments.
Service was great, super helpful and accommodating. Amenities and property condition was excellent. The apartment was very comfortable and nicely designed.
